Scholarships

Over the years the Nafpaktian Cultural Foundation has given away thousands of dollars in scholarships. We currently have available four different scholarships.

The Nafpaktian Cultural Foundation Inc. awards one $1,000 scholarship for college students that are majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) and multiple $500.00 scholarships to high school and college students who are of Greek ancestry in Northeast Ohio. The scholarship applies to eligible students who meet the requirements as listed on the application. The requirements and deadlines may vary for each program.  However, all applicants must be of Greek ancestry and a permanent resident of one of the following counties in Ohio: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, or Summit Counties.

The High School Scholarship Program is for high school seniors who plan on enrolling full-time in an accredited undergraduate or technical/trade school program. They must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 or greater and complete all the application requirements.

The College Scholarship Program is for college or technical/trade school students who will be attending school during the current academic year. They must have a minimum grade point average of 3.30 or greater and complete all the application requirements.

The STEMM Scholarship Program is for college or technical/trade school students who will be attending school during the current academic year. They must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or greater and complete all the application requirements.

The Sterea Hellas Scholarship Program is offering $1,000 for college or technical/trade school students who will be attending school during the current academic year. They must have a minimum grade point average of 3.30 or greater and complete all the application requirements, including being of ancestry from Sterea Hellas, Greece.
